A seasoned, talent acquisition professional with a solid track record of providing high-caliber talent to his clients, Jeff has successfully provided nationwide executive search and recruitment-related services to a number of organizations, large and small, from start-ups to Fortune 100’s. He has successfully recruited hundreds of professionals for positions ranging from individual contributors to senior executives. He has provided talent acquisition support to his clients in the areas of recruitment and sourcing strategy, and has built and managed several successful recruiting teams.
Throughout his professional career, with an expertise in recruitment strategy planning, Jeff has developed a strong track record of quickly assessing client needs, and is adept in providing solutions specifically tailored to these needs. His extensive background in business and management has provided him with excellent insight into the organizational needs of The Adkins Group clients. Companies that he has worked with include Microsoft, Intel, Apple, Cisco, Dell, Varian Medical Systems, and Sprint, to name a few.
Before founding The Adkins Group in 2000, Jeff was a Senior Partner of Far West Search Associates, an Austin, Texas-based executive search firm, and, before that, was a top-performing Executive Search Consultant at a technology-focused search firm, also based in Austin.
Jeff earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, and a Masters Certificate in Human Resource Management from St. Edward’s University. He is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and a member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin Technology Council, and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). He has been a regular speaker on the subject of talent acquisition/management, and when time allows, provides career management/job hunt strategy advice to professionals in need.
